Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 12th 2025. 10:00am – 2:00pm
The GECPD hosts an Easter Egg Hunt at Highland Park! The event starts at 11:00 AM and is open to children ages 1-10.
The event features a park-wide hunt for treat filled easter eggs, food, games, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!
Family Fest
Saturday, August 23rd 2025. 11:00am – 3:00pm
Our favorite event of the year, Family Fest! Where the GECPD shows its appreciation to its members with a festival for all ages at Highland Park! The event starts at 11:00 AM.
It features food, attractions, games, vendors, a wandering magician, and a visit from the Glen Ellyn Fire Department!
Halloween House Decorating Contest
5 prizes of $25 each were awarded for each category's winner!
Judging was performed between October 19th and October 25th!
This year's winners are:
- Most Original: Davis on Pleasant Ave.
- Interactive: Macias on Highland Ave.
- Single-Themed: Armentano on Diane Ave.
- Scariest: Cervantes on North Ave.
- BIGGEST: Uhren on Mildred Ave.
Halloween Party

The Glen Ellyn Countryside Park District will be hosting a Halloween Party on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at Highland Park. The event is from 12:00 PM to 2:00 pm for children aged 1-10.
The event features games, crafts, food, and a costume contest!
Brunch with Santa
Saturday, November 29 2025. 10:00am – 12:00pm
The Glen Ellyn Countryside Park District will be hosting a Brunch With Santa on Saturday, November 29th, 2025 at Highland Park. The event is from 10:00 AM to 12:00 pm for children aged 1-10.
The event will feature games, food, and a visit from Santa!
Pre-Registration is required by November 22nd to ensure we have enough food and gifts for everyone!

Winter Holidays House Decorating Contest

Categories: Most Classic & Traditional, Highest Tech, The Most Griswold/Over the Top, Silliest Santa, and Best Themed.
